This is not the advertised product. The illustration depicts a guard that is completely straight, with no bevel or taper. The blade that came with it has a taper/bevel and will not work with a 9″ diamond blade because the blade will make contact with the blade guard. I should have relied on the previous review, which pointed out the same problem. Included are photographs of the actual product.
