A lot of these bits get 4-5 stars, but the smallest two or three bits plug up a lot. During a low voltage wiring project today, I tried these out. I used them with the new Flexvolt drill, but the 1″ bit was useless in every case. The sawdust from the soft pine framing clogged up the end of the tool. I had to get out, move as much as possible, and try again. Getting some of these holes took me a while. When I was done, I used a self-driving spade bit on an impact driver and sped through the same space in no time, because the dust could easily be pushed out from behind the tool.
I haven’t used the bigger sizes yet, and I know that selfeed bits are meant for bigger holes, but this set has the smaller bits, so I thought they would work. For me, they didn’t.
