There was no doubt that this gun was the right choice for me. Good size and strength. My old pin nailer doesn’t have a nose guard, so it doesn’t leave nose dents like that. They work very well. How did it do with the 2″ pins. My most common pin sizes are 1 3/8″ and 7/8″ pins. It’s nice to be able to lock stacked trims with the 2″ pins. I find it a little difficult to fire the gun in small, tight places because of the safety. However, “my old gun” has fired accidentally several times in the past, so I won’t be too upset about the safety. I also like that this gun doesn’t need oil. It’s great because most of the trims I’ll use this on are stained or raw stain grade. All in all, I think it’s a great gun.
