3 years ago, I bought this same motor after my old one died. Motor: I used that motor for the 3rd time last week and the motor died. I thought it was just bad luck and I couldn’t return the item because it had been a long time since the last use. Ordered another motor last week, put it in the base, and tried to finish the groove I was cutting when the previous motor died. Sparks started to be seen, and the motor ran rough, just before it died, so I stopped the cut and decided to send it back, because for the price I paid, it was a piece of junk. I was cutting a groove in a piece of plywood that was 3/4 inches wide and 3/8 inches deep. Don’t buy this.
