I needed a cordless screwdriver that was shorter. For a single job. I chose this one. Even though most of the cordless power tools I have and the shop I’m at are M12 Milwaukee, I don’t have any of them. With me, I have older M12 types. The shop has newer Fuel versions that are smaller, stronger, and lighter than the older M12 types. Which meant that we had to switch to a different battery.
Lighter: The Dewalt is a lot lighter than my Milwaukee. It also grips better than the Milwaukee. I don’t have small hands, but the Milwaukee handle is wider than I like because the battery pack is part of the handle. This makes the handle wider than I like, but I don’t mind. The battery pack for the Dewalt is all the way under the handle. Which I find to be more comfortable than the other way around.
