This product arrived in a box that was extremely well-designed. For the price I paid, I assumed it would be a low-quality product packaged in a low-quality box. It appears that I will keep it and purchase additional accessories for this device. The only thing that bothers me right now is that the trigger mechanism, which is the pin, is made entirely of plastic. The pin, on the other hand, I don’t think will last. If it doesn’t work, I’ll just 3D print a trigger pin to use instead.
There are more than enough accessories included with it to get you started. They don’t throw in a cheapo last minute to sell an inventory that hasn’t sold yet.
Last weekend, I was able to put this to use by polishing my cars. It did not live up to my expectations because it does not have enough torque to spin freely when pressure is applied to it. When I built this, I used a twenty-gallon compressor with at least 90psi and 5gpm, as well as 3/8″ hose and an adapter. The mechanism that controls the air flow under the thumb does not allow for sufficient air flow even when the thumb is fully opened. Perhaps for reasons of safety.
The reason for my rating of three stars is that I did not spend more than twenty dollars on this item. I’m going to return to using my cordless drill to polish my automobiles.
