I’ve used similar products in the past and have found that using a wet polisher, I can get excellent wear out of the pads. These are the worst pads I’ve ever used in my entire life. I was fortunate in that I received a set that included two each of the 50, 100, and 200, but I will still need to order additional ones for this project. It is still early in the process, but I am polishing a 12 square foot concrete counter top and have used both 50-pads. I normally make more passes with this grit pad, but I was forced to downgrade to the 100 because the pads had worn out too quickly. I still have some polishing to do on the edges. In addition, one of the 100 pads on the top has been worn out. With comparable pads, I would typically be able to polish three or more counter tops of this size in a single session.
DO NOT PURCHASE THESE MATTRESSES!!. I have never left a negative review on Amazon because I am generally satisfied with the products I purchase from them. This is not one of them, and I would request a refund if I believed I would be able to get my money back in this situation. Again, these pads are terrible, and you should avoid purchasing them; instead, you should purchase a different brand.
