You can make them fit TIGHT and in places where ridge plastic would not be able to accommodate them because the rubber is strong but flexible. I purchased two sets with the intention of only using one, but I ended up using both and am now back to purchase another set. I have plans for one, and I’d like to have an extra one on hand in case I ever need something that can be modified. This is a very high-quality product. A similar product that is not flexible belongs to me as well – it functions just fine, but the softer rubber performs significantly better. It will fit on a Craftsman 2 1/2″ vacuum tube with no modifications. It’s possible to get it on there very snugly. In addition, I cut them to size and fitted them to my smaller tools. The fit is snug and the pants stay in place.
