The best thing to use this on is metal. It can be used to make castings, rivets, rust, and other things.
Sharpening, deburring, and general grinding can be done with this tool.
Do not run more than 30,000 RPM.

Ideal for sharpening, deburring, and general grinding on most materials, including stainless steel, this tool is great. Specially made for working on conic surfaces. When you buy this tool, the bit diameter is 3/16-inches (4.8-millimeters), and the shank diameter is 1/8-inch (3.2-millimeters). Use the 415 dressing stone to clean the surface of the grinding stone and get it back to how it was before you used it. To make a grinding stone that’s just right for that job, you can also use the dressing stone to make a different shape. It’s better if you put the accessory bit in as far as you can and then back it out a little bit before tightening it down. This gives the collet or chuck enough shank to hold on to the bit.
For a lawnmower blade, I bought this to grind away some of the damage. It did the job. The stones are gone now, and I don’t think I’ll use them much more. However, for the price, I can’t really say anything. More or less, I got what I paid for.
