When used in conjunction with the Dremel Trio tool, the Dremel Trio Random Orbital Sander allows users to perform random-orbit face sanding. Designed to have the least amount of vibration and the most random orbital motion possible. The 60, 120, and 240 grit sandpaper on this round, 2-1/2-inch sanding disc is included.
This sanding tool is particularly well suited for working in confined spaces. Because it is easy to control, it produces a high-quality finish. Adding it to the Dremel Trio is a worthwhile investment (mini router). The Trio tool’s variable angle handle makes sanding work in tight spaces much easier – you can almost always “find a way in” with this tool.
However, because of its small size (which is its most significant advantage for the particular job I purchased it for), I would not recommend it as a substitute for other, larger sanders when working on larger (“normal size”) jobs.
The sanding discs are very well attached to the Velcro pad and appear to last a long time; as a result, I have not given the pack of replacement discs a star rating (I have not yet used them).
