Buy Dustless Wet+Dry Vacuum

Instantaneous switching between dry and wet pickup is possible without sacrificing filters.

Wunderbags can be used as a prefilter to allow a vacuum to run almost continuously. Wunderbags can be used in both wet and dry applications.

Filters can be cleaned by agitating them with a rod that is attached to the outside of the vacuum.

The barrel has a large capacity and can easily hold 40 pounds of dust.

Rubber wheels have been upgraded, and the lid and barrel have been reinforced.

As a whole, this is an excellent vacuum for the money. There are other vacuums available that have slightly higher suction power (CFM) and certain power options (the vacuum turns on when you switch on the tool), but they are significantly more expensive than this one. The most serious problem with this vacuum is that it is reliant on TERRIBLE CLOTH BAGS to function. (Please see the attached photo..

The fact that I work as a Hardwood flooring contractor means that I need to use this vacuum on a daily basis. More than three years have passed since I began dealing with their vacuum bags, which explode within 10 to 15 minutes of being ground. Purchasing the bags is necessary, and they typically cost between $20 and $25 for a two-pack. The customer service provided by Dustless Technologies is also substandard. The first time I dealt with this issue, it took over a year to resolve, and they only provided me with six replacement bags and then six more prototypes that they were experimenting with (ALL exploded). I purchased over 200 bags in the course of the same calendar year. Adding insult to injury, every time this occurs, it takes 5 to 10 minutes to clean the dust out of the filters inside the vacuum (as well as out of the vacuum base and the cover). After a year, they were able to “fix” the problem completely. About 6 months later, they redesigned the bag once more; as a result, the bag is now exploding in a different location. The bag separates from the plastic seal, allowing dust to be released throughout the vacuum’s interior. When I contacted customer service again (in February 2021), they acknowledged that they were aware of the problem, but that was the end of the conversation with them. The company did not provide me with any replacement bags, and the person who was supposed to contact me (Brent) never did. It’s October, and the bags are still blowing after grinding 60-80 feet of concrete in a single session. I had to purchase a new vacuum because the motor on my old one had basically burned out due to the amount of dust generated by the bags being blown around so frequently. My experience with these vacuums has been positive. If it weren’t for the bags, I would have had only two of them. (1 standard vacuum and 1 HEPA vacuum.

Although the price of the HEPA vacuum is significantly higher, I do not recommend purchasing one because doing so will be a complete waste of money until a solution to the problem with the bags is found.

Aside from that, I would not have continued to purchase these vacuums if it weren’t for the fact that I purchased a cart with a dust separator that the vacuum fits into, which allows for improved dust filtration. It cost nearly $2000, so I continue to purchase these vacuums in the hopes that the bags will be fixed. In the past three years, thousands of dollars have been spent on vacuum bags and vacuum cleaners, and hundreds of hours have been lost to cleaning out the vacuum because of faulty bags.
