With its powerful 4 Amp motor, this PowerSmart 4-1/2″ Mini Circular Saw can cut through a wide range of materials with ease. It is very good at cutting through wood, PVC tubing, laminate flooring, plastic, plasterboard, and MDF.

Compared to 7-1/4″ saws that weigh 50 percent more, this one weighs about half as much. The ergonomically designed handle makes it the quickest, easiest, and most useful tool in your toolbox.

A 45° angle adjustment lets you make bevel cuts that are up to 45°. 1-11/16″ (42.83mm) at 90°, and 1-1/8″ (28mm) at 45°. It can easily cut through 2×4’s in a single pass, and it can cut different thicknesses of wood, too.

Precision: The circular saw comes with a laser guide, a scale ruler, and a dust port. It also comes with two batteries to replace the laser guide. Which can help you cut a straight line when you need to be very precise and keep your work area clean with the dust exhaust pipe.

In this package, you get a mini circular saw, two 4-1/2-inch 24-tooth saw blades, a dust exhaust pipe, a scale ruler and a hex wrench. The product comes with a 2-year warranty, and our service team will do everything they can to help you solve any problems.

Use this to cut panel boards for basic shelves and cabinets, which I wanted to be able to do quickly without having to use a table saw. I’ve been doing a lot of home organization work with this tool. The laser does help with getting lines going. It’s also easy to cut with one hand and keep the lines straight enough for what I’m doing. A guide fence could be held down by the blade guard if I needed to. The blade guard has enough of an edge to work with a fence.

There is a thick handle on this saw. It’s not hard to grip, but it might be difficult to make curved cuts with this saw, which isn’t what this saw should be used for. Being able to use the saw one-handed helps a lot when it comes to where you are and how you hold things while cutting.

The “mini” blade is the right size for cutting 5/8-inch panel boards. It’s a little too small for 2x4s, but if you cut on both sides, you could get by.

Pretty good: The vacuum cleaner is good for a vacuum cleaner. As it turns out, I had to gaff tape the end of my vacuum to the end of my standing vac because it was a different size. It works and keeps the sawdust pretty low. I went without it for a while, and the difference was clear right away.

All in all, it’s easy to clean and store, and it’s better for cutting through panels than a standard circular saw.
