It’s a great thing. I was skeptical when I got it and it looked like it didn’t even have a single piece of metal or plastic in it. It’s built very well, though. Plastic is made of PA, probably PA66/fiber reinforced, and is very strong. A lot of what you see in the picture that is dark. In this case, the blue body is made of cast aluminum, and the slide for the staples is made of aluminum that has been bent. As a whole, I think it is very well made, and now I’m happy because it is light. Much easier to move than my old electric, which weighed about 10 pounds. Do not use the ARROW T50! Use the Duo Fast 50 series staples (1/2″ wide staples). When you buy Real Duo Fast staples, you can be sure they fit and work well. In the event that my electricity went out, I needed this quickly to finish a job. I couldn’t find a half in electricity quickly. In order to do this, you need 60 pai min. I had a few misfires and saw that the line pressure had dropped to 55 psi. At 60 to 90, it worked great. There have been no misfires or jams with this car. It took about 300 staples to finish the job. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Shoot faster than I can aim and squeeze. The only thing I don’t like about the trigger safety is that it takes a long time to (there is no surface safety). To get the trigger safety off, I had to squeeze my middle finger and then pull with my trigger finger. But it’s the only thing that keeps this book from getting all five stars. As soon as I learned how to do it, it was fine, except for maybe when I tried to do it over my head, upside down, or at the top of my ladder. I had to have a better grip than I did on my old electric that didn’t have safety. This is rare, and it kept me from being more dangerous than I should have been. It’s a great thing.
