This wet tile saw, called the FLEX CS 40, is made for use in the stone, tile and glass industries. The 12-amp motor makes it possible for the saw to cut through any kind of hard material. The wet tile cutter is also equipped with a high-quality water-feed system that will keep harmful dust particles out of the air. This will make it easier to cut the tiles. The CS 40 can accept a curved cutting blade, which makes cutting curves safer and easier. It also has a side handle for more stability.

When it comes to Chinese tools, which one is your favorite color. Some of Flex’s tools are made in Germany, and they are very good at what they do. Why they would rebrand a tool made in China with their name on it is a bad marketing move, I think. There is only one place that sells the cs-40 in the US: Flex North America. The cs-60 is only sold in Europe as the CS-60. I have added a picture of the saw they tried to make and sell to “stupid Americans..

There are two major flaws with this product that make it a good idea to look for something else.

There is a fence that comes with the tool. It only lets you work 3 inches from the edge of a tile or stone slab. Line up with the edge of the piece. Using the alpha saw’s fence and the beast-5 saw’s straight edge as a guide are both ways you can use that function. You can also use the fence to run the saw next to the straight edge as a guide. With the CS-40, one would need to spend a lot of money on a sled to do this.

Second, the arbor size is 20mm. This is a very rare size for an arbor. I bought this saw and the blade that Amazon says a lot of people buy with it. Because this blade has a standard 7/8 arbor (or 22.5mm) that is too big, it won’t cut. This is a bad idea. I’m sure people have centered the blade and used the saw anyway even though it’s not safe, but this is a bad idea. This is what it feels like to be in an out-of-balance tire on a car. Out of balance forces are now on a diamond blade that is moving at 13,000 rpm. It would make the saw feel heavy and put a lot of stress on the saw’s bearings. It is just a bad idea to do that (personally I have been severely injured by a power tool in which centripical forces caused a blade to detach, I am lucky to have lived and learned after a few thousand dollars in medical bills and the loss of a few pints of blood.

I called the company that gave me their sales rep because I couldn’t find a blade. They said that 20mm is the standard in the industry. No one in the metro area sells a blade with a 20mm arbor or a 7/8 adapter ring that will work with 7/8.

They said that a lot of the blade manufacturers don’t include the 20mm adapter ring because they want to save a nickel. I could probably find one at a granite shop.

In order to save money, Flex didn’t include a 7/8 to 20mm arbor adapter ring with each saw that they made. To save people a lot of time and keep them from operating the saw in a dangerous way, they could have spent just a half cent. I didn’t buy the arbor ring that went from 7/8 to 20mm. Amazon, which sells almost everything, doesn’t even sell a 7/8 to 20mm arbor converting ring. I returned the saw and bought the Beast-5 tile saw, which I’m happy with. If you buy this, you’ll get the blade, a fence, and brass water jets instead of the plastic ones on the Cs-40. I hope I was able to help someone who was frustrated:)
