In the picture, you can see how I used this nailer to put down the Brazilian Cherry wood flooring. I also used the Freeman L-cleats in 18 ga, but I also used them. As soon as I learned how hard to hit the head with the nailer, it worked great. It had some broken tongues, but that’s common with Brazilian Cherry. It split less than other nailers I’ve used. For the floor shown, the nailer got stuck twice. Hex wrenches were available to help clear up the jams, and it was easy to get them out. In any case, jams were caused by nails, not the nailer, and were not his fault. I bought the nailer used on Amazon, and it looked like it had never been used before. This is how it looked. In the end, it cost the same as renting a nailer for 3 days. The flooring took me 5-6 days to finish, so that was a good thing because I still have the nailer to use for my next project.
