This is an excellent tool. We use 1/2-length staples almost all of the time in our shop. It’s what we use to attach our 1/4-inch backs to cabinets. There was a break in the action during which we reached for an old gun if one was available. Having had it for a while, we find ourselves reaching for it on a regular basis. It is both quick and dependable. Our security system had stopped working for some reason, but it is now a pleasure to use. Several thousand staples are run through it each month by our company. This unit replaced a unit I purchased from Horrible Freight (lol) in 2004, which was damaged in transit. Because that particular unit ran so well, I was concerned that I would not be able to find a replacement unit that was as good. We did, in fact, find one. Staples top load on the magazine; you can load a large number of staples and it feeds smoothly.
