As a result of someone posting the incorrect tracking number on Amazon, I had difficulty tracking the shipment. I was finally able to obtain the proper tracking information, and the package arrived as expected. The UPS Freight driver informed me that he was unable to deliver to my residence because my driveway was not paved (whether this is true or false, I do not know). My driveway extends for more than 700 feet. I had no problems because the driver unloaded at the side of the road, and I picked it up with my tractor and hauled it away. Yes, it is quite heavy.
When I opened the package, the boxes were in perfect condition and had not been damaged. It came with three different manuals. A base saw, a fence, and a router extension table are all accommodated by a single router extension table. The manuals are generally well written, but they are not without flaws, and they may be confusing to some readers. It was suggested that you switch from using the main saw manual to one of the other manuals every now and then, but they never told you when you should switch back. One problem I had (which I eventually resolved) was determining which rail was the front rail and which rail was the rear rail. I was able to locate all of the components within the packaging. This could have been handled more effectively. According to what I’ve read, the assembly time should be around 2 hours. That’s something you shouldn’t believe. It is more dependent on your level of skill. It took me more than an hour to completely remove the rustproofing from the cast iron grate. In conclusion, if it weren’t for a few minor flaws, I would have given this film a perfect score of 5 stars. All in all, it’s an excellent value for the money, as well as an accurate and powerful saw. Although I did not interact with customer service, I have heard that they are extremely responsive.
