I have a 1983 bandsaw and the old rubber tire on the lower wheel is not glued on. If you are replacing the Bandsaw Tire with a rubber one order the replacement that comes with the adhesive. If you do not want to mess with gluing tires on the Bandsaw wheels you could change to the Urethane Bandsaw Tires.

Check over at OWWM there has been some posts there about using 3m 5100 marine sealant for band saw tire repair it may work also as a glue for you but, then again you may never get them off next time. 01-07-2014, 3:49 PM #13 I can’t respond about all band saws, but there was no glue under the tires on my 14″ Jet.
