Buy G0702 Grizzly Industrial 12

How many times have you considered whether a dedicated disc sander would be beneficial to your manufacturing process.

The 12-inch cast iron wheel is equipped with spa sanding discs, and the cast iron table has a full tilting capability up to 45 degrees and includes a two-axis miter gauge support.

When the power is turned off, a state-of-the-art motor brake prevents the disc from spinning, providing additional safety.

After owning this sander for a little over a year, I believe it is a great investment. When turned off, it consumes little power and shuts down in seconds. The only thing I’ve noticed is a very slight concavity in the chin, which is extremely minor (most may not even notice). There is also a slight vibration, but it is not unpleasant at all; in fact, I would argue that it is better than most because all have some vibration. And as for the review that came before mine, which was written by someone who was talking about a cheap plastic fence (??? ), well, let’s just say I’m not sure if this person is qualified to give an accurate review lol. Give me a break, I’m not trying to be rude; it could just be a typo on their part. However, the sander comes with a miter gage that is not of the highest quality, as it is partially made of plastic and partially of metal. However, most machines come with miter gages that aren’t particularly good to begin with, which is why most people opt to either purchase aftermarket high-quality miter gages or make their own from scratch. There is one thing about this table that I’m not entirely sure I like or not, and that is the curved extension. The curve is a little unusual to me and takes away from the table’s squared off edge, but it is a solid table that is extremely heavy. But, in general, if you’re looking for a 12″ disk sander, this one is a solid choice that performs admirably. Moreover, I own a few Grizzly products, and so far, customer service has been excellent in resolving any issues I may have encountered. Last but not least, I believe the product is a little overpriced. For example, a reduction of $100 would seem more appropriate, but hey, what can you do when disk sanders are already extremely expensive?
