Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products and Tools are now available at Specialty Diamond, and we are excited to offer them to you. A proven planetary performance combined with portability is what the new Buddy Rhodes Planetary machine offers. It is designed to produce a flat, swirl-free finish on counter tops, floors, walls, and steps. The Buddy Rhodes Triad Planetary Polisher is a rugged planetary-powered tool that is built to last. Surfaces such as concrete, terrazzo, marble, and granite will be polished and cleaned with diamond abrasives while the unit is in operation. This is a true planetary gear driven tool, as the name implies. The top ten “A lower rotational speed of the platform is achieved in comparison to the higher rotational speed of the 4 inch platens. This combination of RPMs provides the fastest possible speed for diamond polishing, resulting in a perfect finish that is 5 times faster than that achieved by a single head polishing machine. A collar size of 50mm or less can be used to power the unit, which can be powered by either electric or pneumatic variable-speed polishers. You can choose any four of them “Aggressive grinding and aggregate exposure are achieved by using cup wheels with a threaded arbor. Alternatively, any 4 “Polishing pad with hook and loop attachment made of diamond. However, for the best results, we recommend using our BR DHEX wet/dry 6mm polishing pads (sold separately). The use of a center cooling water feed line, precision bearings, and gears results in a durable construction and the ultimate tool for perfect flatness and a superior mirror-like finish. Electric or pneumatic polishers with low revolutions per minute (RPM) can be used to power the Buddy Rhodes Triad Planetary Polisher. Angle grinders with high rotational speeds should not be used with the Triad machine. The system comes complete with all of the dustless and water feed accessories required to operate in either a wet or dry environment. Questions?.

Updated on April 18th. The polisher I was using to polish the floor blew up after 30 minutes after I poured a concrete micro-coating in my kitchen and used it to polish the floor. As in suddenly coming to a complete stop, sparking, and smoking. Even though the polisher is no longer functional, I can still use the planetary system because I can replace it. All that is required is a polisher or grinder with a low RPM.

I believe it should have lasted for a longer period of time than one year.

I’m torn between liking it and absolutely adoring it. This was used as a sequential polisher for my new concrete floor, which was approximately 400 square feet in size. I started with 30 grit and worked my way up to 1600 grit, finishing with a coat of concrete hardener after 400 grit. My only regret is that I did not stay on 30 grit for a longer period of time to get some of the heavier items off the floor. Using this on the floor will provide an excellent triceps workout for you. It works extremely well in conjunction with a shop vac, and you will generate very little dust if you do so, even when using it dry, as I demonstrated. I’m not sure what else I’ll use it for now that I’m finished with the floor, aside from the fact that you can remove the motor and use it as a grinder, which is something I intend to do once the weather gets warmer in order to smooth out some of the cracks in my driveway.

My only wish was that there was a way to get right up against a flat wall, which was not possible. Even if the machine comes into contact with the wall, you will still have approximately 1 cm of essentially untouched floor material. However, if you use trim, this isn’t a significant issue.
