The case for my Metabo NT50ae2 metabo nailer, which I purchased as part of a combo kit because it did not come with a case, was ordered separately. Overall, the case is appealing to me. It perfectly accommodates the nailer, as well as a couple of packs of nails, including the full 2-inch ones, and the oil bottle, among other things.
What I don’t like about it is that the Hitachi (or Metabo) brand lettering that was advertised in the picture is not present on it. Little things like that irritate me, but the case continues to function flawlessly. The slide locks appear to be of high quality as well, which is a plus.
Summary: If you require a case, this is what you should look for; however, do not expect it to say Hitachi or Metabo on it (the color is the same as pictured). Because of the inconsistencies in the image of this item, I’m deducting points from my rating.
In addition, the Hitachi website that it links to for support is hitachi.us, not hitachi.com as previously stated (knock off website that looks identical to the real Hitachi one). Because of this deceptive branding, the overall rating is reduced to three stars.
