Hard, lightweight boron carbide is used to make the blast nozzle. This makes the tip of the nozzle more durable, lasts longer, and has a longer service life than ceramic, tungsten carbide, and other materials.
Our boron carbide nozzle has a lot of good things about it, like strong wear resistance, high hardness, resistance to high and low temperatures, and resistance to high pressure. That’s what you should do.
The boron carbide sandblasting nozzle is good for most sandblasting guns because it is made of boron carbide. The Size. 35mm long, 20mm outside diameter, 6mm inside diameter: these are the measurements for the length of the piece.

After reading another person’s post, I bought an IDS blast gun that looks the same as the Amazon guns for this, but it has a 7/8 inch barrel “(22.225mm) nozzle: I want to be able to use a smaller diameter nozzle (20mm) like these. At the thickness of my duct tape, I worked out that I would need 4.8 wraps. I was able to fit it in my blast gun when I wrapped it with five wraps and cut it with a razor blade.
Do math. These $18 nozzles can be changed to fit any other blast gun with a bigger diameter and the same length (35mm/1-3/8 inches) so they work “It costs more than $50. I haven’t tried it out to see how quickly it will wear, but you can buy three of these for the price of one. At these prices, if you’re not sure like I was at first, it would be worth taking a risk and giving them a try.
Update.
There is nothing left to do. I have sandblasted every inch of a 12 foot rail. This nozzle is holding up so much better than the ceramic and carbide nozzles I have used in the past, and I can’t believe it. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to carbide again. Nearly every part of the cone looks like it’s brand new. This is worth the money.
