I knew what I was getting. This is a light-weight router that can be used for trimming and other simple tasks, like cutting wood. But there was something wrong with it. It came late (But I could live with that. There is a base and a cover made of light-duty plastic that is easy to clean. I was afraid I was going to tighten it too much, but it slipped so I turned it down. None of it broke. It still slipped out of place, but it wasn’t broken. They call it a chuck, but the bit that came with it was so tight that I had to use a screwdriver to open it up a little, so I could use the chuck (like the difference between mm and inches). The main thing was that it got very hot very quickly. When I cut an edge on very soft wood, it became so hot that I could not hold it. I let it cool down for a while, but it was still too hot. That’s when I made the decision to return the thing I bought. The device has a rating of 800 watts, and it can do a lot. About 6.7 amps and 120 volts. I don’t believe those ratings at all. Not only do I know how to use a router, but also many other tools. The full-size router I use a lot. Not at all. This router is not the same as my full-size router. This is what I bought because my other router is too big and heavy for small jobs.
