The sander itself is fine, and the belts that come with it are in excellent working condition. Amazon or Ikohe, on the other hand, should be able to sell finer grit belts that will fit this sander. Even though the belt comes with the finest grit sandpaper available (320), jewelers require finer grits (400, 600, and 1200) for their work. This would make this sander an excellent choice.
