So I bought this to use with a Plasma Cutter, and while I did read reviews, I was a little confused why this thing cost so much more than other 20 gallon compressors. After I bought it, I went to Home Depot and saw that Husky had a 60 gallon for less than I paid for this thing. I was angry at the time. Also, I wasn’t sure if it could keep up with a machine that used a lot of air like a plasma cutter.
There is no doubt where the extra money went after I set it up. This thing is very strong. Plasma cutter: “I can run it all day, and this thing will always run faster than it does. So I can run the cutter, and the compressor will start, fill up, and shut off without me having to stop and think about it. That is very good. Also, it’s very quiet. This compressor is by far the quietest I’ve ever heard. I’m not saying you can run it at 3 in the morning and not bother your neighbors, but there’s a clear effort to keep the obnoxious noise down.
Get what you pay fo. If you don’t understand why this brand costs so much, read my review. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose this over the Husky.
