The best value for your money is the Matco mt2769 impact. I work in a shop, and we’ve used my new ingersoll to test it out, so I know it works. When I was younger, I had an old Mac that was made by Ingersoll, and it could hold 550 pounds. I also had a blue point, a Snap-on, Chicago, and Harbor Freight all on the same bolts. Even the weak Harbor Freight tool took about 45 seconds, but it worked. The new ingersoll tool, on the other hand, was not able to break away the bolts, not even close to the 780 ft lbs it is rated for. Ingersoll isn’t a brand I’m very picky about, but after this I’ll never buy another tool from them again.
