This thing is huge. This is the first time that I’ve had to run an entry door through my wide belt sander to clean it up. It was too big for my sander. This is what we did instead of using our 5″ orbital sanders to sand everything. Hours of work were spared for only $130.
Make sure you have enough air. This thing kept my 120 gallon 15hp compressor running every two minutes or so when I kept it running all the time. Putting a reserve tank near the regulator that this uses might help because I don’t think enough air is getting to it after going through my pipes and 50-foot air hose. I might get a thicker hose or put one near the regulator. It doesn’t matter if you have a small contractor compressor.
As a whole, it was a good thing. Over time, we’ll see how it works out.
