A few other grits from Jet for my 25″ sander have worked out just fine. I would recommend them. It was not possible to use these 36grit ones because they didn’t fit properly. Due to the fact that they were too long and overlapped on both ends, they were colliding with other components of the sander, and I had to trim them down. The lack of quality control is disappointing considering the price. One of them had to be thrown away because I messed it up while trying to trim it with a utility knife while it was still on the gas cylinder. I should have returned them, but I was in a hurry to get started on a project and didn’t want to have to wait a week for a new pair of shoes. Disappointed. My plan is to purchase rolls and begin making my own, saving money in the process while also maintaining control over the quality of the finished product, if possible.
