I had this drill for a year before selling it. The spindle of this drill was bent after it was knocked off a table and fell 28 inches to the floor. I’m always very careful with my tools, but this one was bumped off and fell 28 inches to the floor. Because the planetary gears are pressed in and cannot be removed, the parts to repair it will cost nearly as much as I paid for the drill (a new spindle, new pins for the planetary gears, and the ridiculous shipping fee from the manufacturer, to name a few expenses). That shouldn’t have happened after such a minor mishap, in my opinion. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing any more Jet tools in the future. It should not be necessary to spend so much on replacement parts!
