The ES model is made of 304 polished stainless steel and can be used for medium to heavy jobs in containers of 2-5 gallons (8-20 qts.) It can also be used for small jobs. Any 3/8″ electric-driven power tool will fit. To run at its top speed of 1000 RPMs, the model called ES is made for. With tools that have 450 to 700 RPMs, you get the best rate of mixing that is done well. Mixers can be permanently installed if that’s what you want. There are chemicals in this product that the State of California says can cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
I bought this to mix pizza sauce, but it didn’t work very well at all. You can get a cheap standard one from any hardware store that has a hex shaft for less money. Because it’s made of stainless steel, I bought this. It doesn’t mix very hard, though. Also, I’m not happy with the round shaft. It slips all the time.
