This Kobalt has been my go-to tool for years now, and I can’t be persuaded to switch brands. Every day, I have to use both at work. The impact has three speed settings that are very important for my job, so I use them all. When I need to do the hardest jobs, I can use the 3rd setting. The first setting is easy enough for my more delicate work. This is how it works. And the second setting is great for everyday use.
These tools are great for putting together bicycles, furniture, grills, gazebos/pergolas, shopping carts, exercise equipment, go karts/mini bikes, and a whole lot more.
A lot of the time, the first drill I bought (from Lowe’s) would loosen and drop the bit, which was a pain. I haven’t had that problem with this set or the one I have now. I think that one was broken, so if you have the same problem, I’m sure you can exchange it. I have no problems with this product.
