Exactly as advertised, this product performs as expected. It represents excellent value for money. It creates perfectly round circles. What I would suggest is that when you mark the center of your circle on your material, take a very small finishing nail and lightly tap it in where the jig pin will go to ensure that the center of your circle is accurately marked. You can then slide the pin until it finds the hole instead of trying to find it under the jig, which I do with a lightly weighted plastic mallet instead of trying to find it under the jig.

If you’re cutting MDF, as I was today, I recommend doing it outside and having a shopvac or air compressor on hand to remove all of the dust after you’re done. Additionally, dust masks and goggles should be worn.

There are a few pictures included, including one of my finished circles. 8 – 2′ circles in total.

Also, disregard the negative review that stated that you had to drill and countersink the holes in order for them to match your router. Anyone experiencing difficulties as a result of this should not be using a router in the first place. It would be extremely difficult to manufacture a jig that was pre-drilled for every possible router hole combination. Drilling and countersinking the holes aren’t particularly difficult tasks to complete. To use the jig, remove the baseplate from your router and place it on top of it. Mark the holes, drill the holes, and countersink the holes after they have been drilled. Acrylic is a durable material that can withstand high temperatures.
