Rubber Backer with Velcro on the 5/8-11 size. It is necessary to have a water hole for both wet polishing and dry stone plolishing.

Normally, the RPM is 4500 RPM. Never use it at a speed higher than 8000 RPM, and start with 50 Grit, then 100, and so on until you reach 6000. The 3000 grit and the 6000 grit can cause the stone to reflect light in certain situations.

The Pads Set is effective for dry use; however, wet polishing yields significantly better results.

We have a couple of spots on our granite kitchen counters that have become dull over the years. When I looked up how to make it shine, I found that using acetone to remove any soap residue was recommended. I tried that, but it didn’t make a difference. Afterwards, my only options were to buff the stone with a buffer/polisher or to replace it entirely. My husband has one of those, but he didn’t have the pads with him at the time. These were excellent, and I would strongly recommend them. I have a few other small buffing jobs around the house that I need to complete (such as a corner in my pantry where my porcelain tile is scuffed). I’ll make a note of it and put it on my Honey Do list.. I strongly recommend it!!!
