When used in the right way, this is a great tool. When I drive screws into control panels, I use this. I use it for things like 6-32 and 8-32 screws, as well. This would be great for an electrician who needs to cover up devices or an instrument technician who needs to build panels. So much that I bought another one for home.
The reason people are having problems with this is that they are trying to use it in ways it wasn’t meant to be used. A driver for deck screws isn’t this thing. You can’t use it to make holes in metal. There are a lot of Makita impact guns and drills that can do that. Most people won’t need a tool like this. That’s great for people who want to.
