I had the bigger Makita jigsaw. I used it to cut the wood. For convenience and quick cuts, go this way, but then it’s so inconvenient not to be able to eject the blade to store it away or change the blade. This is a bad idea. This is the end for me. It doesn’t have a place for the allen key to change the blade, either. Most of my cordless tools are made by Makita, but I’m not very happy with this one.
