Makita has made some great tools, but this one is the best one they’ve ever made. I mostly use it to cut EMT, but it can be used for almost anything when you need a smooth, straight, perfect cut. A cordless bandsaw is one of the most important tools to have, in my opinion. Whenever I use a corded model, I always worry about the cord getting too close to the blade below while I’m cutting. If you buy a cordless model, you don’t have to worry about someone who doesn’t know how to use it.
