It’s fantastic. I needed a new cordless drill/driver to replace my 12 year old Ryobi starter set (a gift) that was no longer holding a charge and needed to be replaced. I was initially considering the Makita XDT14R, which I had a positive experience with during a hands-on demonstration at my local Orange big box. However, for occasional home improvement projects, I couldn’t justify the $200 price tag. This drill, despite being slightly larger and having a little less torque and rpm, performs admirably. This is all for less than half the price. When it came to driving screws through 2x4s, this drill performed just as well as the more expensive model. A good impact drill/driver with a lot of power. This is a wise decision.

As a result of the follow-up, I am even more impressed. This drill was used to repair a wooden retaining wall and fence that had been damaged. On a single charge, it effortlessly drove multiple lag bolts through PT lumber posts and boards – with no signs of fading. I’m overjoyed.
