To be honest, this was the first time in a very long time that I wrote a review. This circular saw is like a toy because it doesn’t have enough power. As a general carpenter for a home builder, I often have to cut wood at job sites before there is electricity. So I thought this might be helpful. There aren’t many pine 2x4s it can cut (and yes I have brand new, well charged batteries). And I don’t like how small the blade is. That makes it even less useful. Because I like and own a lot of Makita products. This $100.00 piece of junk is a waste of money.
