The 3, 700 RPM motor is made by Makita and can cut and rip through wood faster.

It has a heavy gauge, precision-machined base for smooth, accurate cutting and extra strength. This tool is also very durable.

50 degrees is the maximum angle that can be cut.

For less operator fatigue, it only weighs 7.3 pounds with the battery (the battery is not included).

It has a 6 to 1/2-inch blade that can cut from 2 to 1/4 inches wide for a wide range of cutting jobs.

The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion cordless 6-1/2″ Circular saw brings cutting power to the job site without having to plug in a power cord. The XSS02Z (Tool only) has a Makita-built high-torque motor and a small design that can be used for a wide range of cutting tasks. It can cut two pieces of material at 45 degrees. In this case, the Makita-built high torque motor has 3, 700 RPM, which makes cutting faster. Designed for smooth, accurate cutting and extra durability in rough job site conditions, the base is made of heavy gauge steel.

To be honest, this was the first time in a very long time that I wrote a review. This circular saw is like a toy because it doesn’t have enough power. As a general carpenter for a home builder, I often have to cut wood at job sites before there is electricity. So I thought this might be helpful. There aren’t many pine 2x4s it can cut (and yes I have brand new, well charged batteries). And I don’t like how small the blade is. That makes it even less useful. Because I like and own a lot of Makita products. This $100.00 piece of junk is a waste of money.
