The impact driver is very powerful and very light. Useful modes: It has 4 speeds, as well as a few other things. When you use a new impact driver, you need to switch between different modes because you don’t need all the power of the driver for some jobs. They are not as loud as I thought they would be.
Impact drivers are lighter than drills, but they’re also more powerful than most corded 1/2″ drills. The chuck is very good.
The impact driver is a lot easier to work with in terms of how it looks and how it feels to work with it. The drill is better for making holes, and the impact driver is better for most of the other things. Having both is great!
