Pro.

For the price of two hardie blades, you can turn your drill into a pair of shears.

* They cut quickly and can be used to shape and cut in a certain direction.

* You can make a fairly straight cut by putting chalk on the ground.

* There is little dust. To protect myself, I wear an NIOSH dust mask and safety glasses (as opposed to a respirator and goggles when using the saw blade).

In addition, I’ll even cut inside the work area instead of outside and bring it in. I use a vacuum with a HEPA filter when I cut to clean up the mess.

In many Malco products, you can order replacement parts for the parts that wear out, just like you can with other products from this company.

CON.

It gets a little heavy at the end, so if you work with this for a living, you might want to get a “dedicated” pair of shears.

* It took a while to figure out how to make this work with my drill. So I wouldn’t take it off and on. For real drilling, keep a second tool on hand at all times.
