It was difficult to find a cover for my table saw on a stand that I used at work. This one caught my eye, and based on the description, it appeared to be the right choice.

After opening it, I was immediately disappointed by how light it felt in comparison to the rest of the package. It was significantly lighter than I had anticipated. It has the appearance of a windbreaker jacket. I was hoping for something similar to my BBQ grill cover, which is made of waxed canvas and has a substantial weight to it.

When I first put the saw on, it was significantly larger and longer (taller) than I had anticipated. The whole thing dragged on the floor because of the length of it. My wife took care of it in a matter of minutes with her sewing machine, hemming it to a height of approximately 12 inches above the floor.

Why are there two large pockets on the side of the cover. I haven’t come up with a compelling reason for them just yet. I put the owners manual in one of the pockets, but because of the light weight of the material, I immediately removed it and realized that the pockets were completely ineffective.

To put it another way, after only one use of the cover, I returned to Amazon in search of a replacement.
