So far, things are going well. I’m a furniture upholsterer, and I work for furniture stores. For one reason, I bought this gun. It only has two bolts on the nose. In most long-nosed guns, there are four bolts. The two that are in the middle of the nose will scratch wood when the gun is wedged into a small space. This gun is a little noisy, but it shoots very well. In some cases, a gun will shoot a little more softly, which means that if you need to pull up a staple, the fabric under it is fine. But keep in mind that this can be rough on the fabric, so think about that. Meite was not a brand I had heard of before, but other reviews were good. Good for the price, too.
When the gun started acting up back in December, Jan 2019 is when it started. It would be hard to fire Staples because they would get stuc. I would have to stop, open it, clear away the broken staple fragments, and staple it again, because I would have to do that. A few times, the staple magazine came out while I was putting it in place. This could be very bad. There is a good chance that it was just a bad luck. I sent the gun back so we’ll see if I get another one to try.
A replacement was sent to me on January 24, 2019. I had to pay for the shipping.
