Buy 1-Gallon Oil-Free Tank Capacity Steel Roll Cage with Rubber Grip Compact and Lightweight 1-Year Warranty Metabo HPT Air Compressor (EC28M)

Same things. A new name. Hitachi Power Tools have changed their name to Metabo HPT.

At only 59 dB’s, the machine runs very quietly. It is so quiet that you can have a normal conversation while the compressor is running and the sound of the compressor is almost not there.

A steel roll cage with a rubber grip protects all of the important parts and makes transportation more comfortable.

Quiet industrial oil-free pumps last for a long time and don’t need to be serviced.

Industrial regulators and gauges make it easy and accurate to change the PSI of your air.

In this style, the air compressor is the only thing.

The EC28M Quiet Air Compressor from Metabo HPT is the first in a new low-noise series from the company. It makes just 59dBs of noise, which is so quiet that a normal conversation can be heard while the compressor is running nearby. A 2. 8 Amp direct drive induction motor makes it last a long time. It has an industrial oil-free pump that doesn’t need to be changed very often. Circuits in the motor protect it from overheating by shutting off the electricity if there is too much power going through the motor. The EC28M is very small and weighs just 25. 2 lbs. It has a rubber handle that is shaped to make it easier to move around any job site. Protects the universal quick coupler and industrial gauges that were already installed by the manufacturer. The steel roll cage desig. This quiet compressor doesn’t need to be set up, and it’s ready to go right out of the box.

Not only is it 1 gallon, but at 100 PSI, this thing is empty in like a second or two.

But even more important, my unit broke right away because of a leak at the regulator valve. This valve slowly lost air pressure through that valve, no matter how tight or loose I made it, all the way out or in.

Here is the paper that came with the box “SHUT UP. Keep away from the store. If you need tech help from us, call us up now!.

Call them up.

You should just return it.

LOL. Weird people.

Because it’s so easy to return things on Amazon, and because this unit is so quiet, I’ll give it another try. I’m not using this to pump up truck tires. I’m only using it for shop air to blow out dirt and other things from crevices, and this will work just fine for that. A quieter compressor is very important for me because I work in a small space. My older Craftsman 5 Gallon compressor made me wear hearing protection because it was so loud.

Update: The new unit works as expected. My guess is that the original had a lot of foreign material inside. I could see it coming out of the water drain valve and the pressure release valve, which were both on the bottom of the unit. I think there might have been metal shavings from the machine-cutting process, and they may have also found their way into the pressure relief valve and damaged the seals there, too. One gallon isn’t much, but if you want to use a steady stream of air at any pressure, you’ll need that motor to be running all the time.
