The RIPMAX 7-1/4 is a ripper “Model C7BUR is a circular saw with an electric brake that is designed for power and speed.

It spins at an impressive 6,800 RPM, which is 40 percent faster than previous models. Any type of lumber, including OSB, 2x4s, LVL, plywood and other common framing materials can be cut quickly and smoothly with this tool.

The RIPMAX circular saw is equipped with a powerful 15 Amp motor and is constructed entirely of metal, including a stamped aluminum base with reinforced ribs for unsurpassed durability.

The wider trigger and slim handle, which is easy to grasp, provide additional comfort while in use. The handle is designed to be closer to the blade, resulting in a more balanced and ergonomic feel when using the circular saw.

The addition of a blower makes it easier to clear debris from the cut line. The stamped aluminum base is equipped with an easy-to-read scale for added convenience, as well as reinforced ribs for unsurpassed strength and longevity.

Additionally, it has an easy-to-reach bevel adjustment lever that allows for bevel cuts ranging from 0 to 45 degrees with positive stops at 0 and 45 degrees.

I really wanted to like this saw, but there were a few problems, one of which necessitated its return. First. The motor appears to be oversized, and the smooth, non-rubberized handles are slick and the front plastic handle is far too small, as is the front plastic handle. When you pull the trigger, it has a strong inertia twist to it, similar to that of a worm drive saw, and at the advertised 6800 rpms, there is no doubt that everything is there. Now comes the difficult part. Running the saw with no load causes very hot air to be blown out of the dust shute, directly onto my wrist, to the tune of 135 degrees, according to digital measurements. Whether factory correct or not, which I suspect it is not, the product is unacceptable and, as a result, unusable to me. The item is being returned; however, for those who choose to keep it, the device will aggressively chop your wood while also warming up your lunch, which is a significant time saver for those who are in a hurry.
