If you don’t need to change the depth, look at the NR83A5 (S). The NR83A5 is just like the original NR83A that you’ve come to trust, but now it has a better trigger design and all the same parts inside as the original NR83A.

My old nr83a2 broke, so I bought this one. Metabo isn’t as good as the hitachi, but it’s not bad. They feel like they are made out of cheap materials. Every time you drive a nail, it looks like a firework goes off. After about 50 nails, it didn’t fire as often. I don’t want this. It was returned and my old gun was fixed. It looks like a piece of trash, but it’s more durable and stable than the new one. The old one said that it was made in Japan, and the new one said that it was made in Taipei. Maybe I just got a lemon. I used to love the hitachi, but the new one isn’t the same as it used to be.
