Buy Metabo HPT Rotary Hammer with 8.4-Amp Motor, 1-1/2-Inch Spline Shank, and 360-Degree Adjustable Side Handle (DH38YE2)

A rotary hammer with a 1-1/2-inch splined shank is on the market.

MOTOR: A powerful 8.4 Amp motor gives off 950 watts of power for maximum productivity.

For faster drilling and chipping through concrete, this tool has 5.9 ft/lbs of impact energy.

Drilling holes in concrete for anchors or rebar, demolishing concrete, cutting, digging, tamping, or driving ground rods are some of the things this tool can be used for.

For less fatigue, it only weighs 14.1 pounds.

MODES: There are two modes of operation: hammer only and hammer drilling that can be controlled with a simple turn of a knob.

It has a low vibration: Only 18.8m/s2 (full load) to make it easier to work with your hands.

Style:Metabo HPT DH38YE2 is this.

When you buy the 1-1/2 Inch Spline Shank Rotary Hammer (DH38YE2), you’re getting the next generation of Metabo HPT tools. A lot of power is put into an easier-to-handle body that weighs less than 2.9 pounds. It also has less vibrations and less noise than the DH38YE’s predecessor, the DH38YE2. The DH38YE2 can be used to drill holes in concrete for anchors or rebar, cut concrete, dig, tamp, or drive ground rods.

Because I had an old Hitachi DH38Y that had been around 20 years or so, I bought this Metabo to get rid of it. One can only hope this drill is at least as good as the old one. Then they say that everything is better. I don’t care about how much weight or how much vibration the tool has. I only care about how well and long it lasts. Because when you’re in the trades, that’s the most important thing. With strength comes quality. Price is third. On construction sites, my old Hitachi has always come out on top when it comes to the best brands. A tough drill. Then, if this drill isn’t worth the money, I’ll write a new review to help other people not waste their money, too. A few more things: My old Hitachi is going to have surgery to see if it can be brought back to life.

On 11-6-2019, I added a new review. Because of the clutch system on the drill, I went from a 5 star to a 4 star. If you put a lot of pressure on the drill or if the drill catches a little, the drill starts to move. Hope it lasts.
