First, I bought this router. I didn’t use it until a few months later, when it was too late to return it to Amazon, so I didn’t use it. Unfortunately, there was a flaw in the shaft that made it impossible for the bits to sit straight. As frustrating as this was on a new tool, I called the customer service number and was in touch with a very helpful person who took care of getting the router in for a warranty repair without much trouble.
When I got the tool back, it did exactly what I thought it would, and it was a lot easier to use than the old Craftsman.
