Has a built-in vise that can be moved to cut at 45 or 90 degrees. At 90 degrees, the 2 inch blade cuts material that is 3/8 inch thick by 1/2 inch wide by any length. At 45 degrees, the 2 inch blade cuts material that is 3/8 inch wide by any length.
I don’t always write reviews of the things I buy, but I wanted to tell people who were interested that this is a good tool. When I use the saw for model building, I don’t have to use my pull saw miter box any more. Quick and easy to use. Duplicated a project that was made by hand in a fraction of the time. There were stacks of wood ready to go in no time. In this case, the cuts are clean and don’t need much to no sanding after they are done. It could be better if there was laser light that showed where the blade would connect the material.
