I have been a fan of Milwaukee tools for a long time. I have 10 M18 tools and 4 M12 tools. I thought this would be a good replacement for my old Milwaukee grinder. But this grinder has a big flaw in the way it was made. Having the guard on a machine that you’ve been using for a long time is not something you need to do. Because there was always enough room to use it with two hands.
Because the handle is 1.5 inches shorter, it scares me without a shield. There are a lot of times when the guard gets in the way, or you can’t see what you are doing at all. To protect my hands but still see what I was doing, I had to come up with an idea. So I changed the guard, and I’ll never use it again without the guard that I changed. Changes: I can now see what I’m cutting, but my hands are still safe.
That’s a bad tool. They need to make the handle at least 1.5 inches longer.
My old plug-in grinder will still be my go-to grinder. For small, quick jobs, this new grinder will still be useful.
