Since I graduated from college more than 16 years ago, I’ve been using a Dewalt prototype right angle drill. There are only two speed settings available.
With 11 clutch settings, two speeds in addition to drilling, and being lightweight, my Sears Nextec 12v drill gets the most use of any tool in my arsenal. My search is for a good right angle drill that is similar to my other right angle Dewalt drill but has a little more oomph and can fit into tighter spaces.
After extensive research, it appears that only Milwaukee manufactures a drill of this type that includes clutch settings as well as a drill function. After much anticipation, it has arrived, and I must say that I am very impressed with how strong, ergonomic, and well-balanced it feels. After charging the battery, I put it through its paces and must admit that it is surprisingly powerful for its small size. Although the drill is not particularly powerful, even with a standard battery, it is more than adequate for my needs.
According to the description, it comes with a case. The case, on the other hand, is more of a bag. This may be misleading, as I was under the impression that the case was a real tough one. I prefer the bag because it is large enough to hold everything and is also functional in that it can accommodate more items.
